Hello.

My name is Andrew Ziminski. I have worked as a church stonemason throughout the English Westcountry for the past thirty-five years.

Over that time, I have become an inveterate church crawler and visited over half of Britain and Ireland's eleven thousand or so churches of medieval origin.

Building on the critical acclaim of my first book, The Stonemason,  I have written another, Church Going,  which will be a useful handbook on the architecture, fixtures, furnishings, and artworks that await discovery in our island's churches.

Many of my church repair projects and visits can be seen on my Twitter and Instagram feeds.

Below is an interactive map that will be useful for finding the churches mentioned in Church Going.

Do get in touch if you would like me to speak at your book festival or event.
